Jack March – The Rheumatology Physio brings you a 5-part series of podcasts all about axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) for healthcare clinicians. We are going to go deep into the condition to get you as much information as possible! This is all thanks to Novartis, who have kindly sponsored the production of this series of podcasts, for which I am extremely grateful. These podcasts are for physios, osteopaths, chiropractors and any other professionals working with people who have axSpA, to help you recognise, manage and understand the condition better!

Listen in if you have:
Burning questions about the symptoms of axSpA
– A desire to learn more about helping people with axSpA
Ambitions to develop clinical reasoning skills around systemic inflammatory disorders

Episode 1 – Physiotherapy for Axial Spondyloarthritis with Susimala Gaikwad, Heather Harrison, and Hannah Chambers

In this, the first of the podcast series concentrating on axial spondyloarthritis, Jack speaks to three members of AStretch about physiotherapy provision for axSpA. They cover a broad range of topics, from the benefits of in-person and virtual appointments, to transferrable skills that MSK therapists already have, and personalising treatments. Susi, Heather, and Hannah are hugely experienced clinicians working with people with axSpA, and the information they provide is top class and of immediate use in the clinical environment.

Please fill in this feedback survey regarding the podcast to help inform and improve the delivery of CPD materials.
