This educational programme includes the following three interactive and engaging events: MPN Expert Meeting; MPN MDT Workshop; BSH Clinical Discussion Evening Meeting.

A wide, in-depth understanding of the science of MPN and its application in the real-world setting is essential for successful career progression for future leaders in the field of MPN. The first module of the MPN Leaders Programme focusses on exploring core MPN data as well as understanding its relevance to day-to-day clinical practice and research. The module combines classroom sessions and hands-on practical workshops hosted by a multidisciplinary faculty.

Supporting educational development through an interactive learning environment, this event focusses on understanding core clinical MPN data relevant to clinical practice and research, as well as knowledge sharing and clinical case review.
 
The expert meeting aims to bring together MPN peers with leaders in the field to share experiences and learn from a multi-professional team of experts. Learning will be provided through online classroom sessions, with a focus on group discussion, troubleshooting and best-practice sharing.

Effective leadership within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) is essential for effective clinical management of MPN patients. The second module of the MPN Leaders Programme focusses on understanding and establishing your role within the MPN MDT, collaborating and engaging with senior clinical leaders and your peers to develop these core skills.

This dedicated workshop focusses on understanding your role within the MPN MDT and will work to develop skills to help you to establish yourself as a leader in the MDT. Multidisciplinary experts in the field will provide training around engaging and collaborating with the MDT to ensure that your MPN patient cases are made a priority at MDT meetings. The module will combine interactive group discussion and troubleshooting exercises in a virtual classroom setting, facilitated by an expert multidisciplinary faculty.

The third module of the MPN Leaders Programme will focus on exploring ‘hot topics’ in MPN through clinical article review and discussion. The module aims to support understanding, data critique and clinical experience exchange.

This educational event provides a supportive, interactive forum in which to explore current ‘hot topics’ in the field of MPN. Continuing the conversation and development of skills around clinical data review, you will present to your peers on topics from the BSH congress, along with data from wider sources. The meeting allows for peer-to-peer data and clinical experience exchange, as well as feedback and insights from senior leaders in the field of MPN.

The MPN Leaders Programme is organised and funded by Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd and is classed as promotional under the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code. Prescribing information will be available throughout the programme for all Novartis brands mentioned. Participation in the programme will be funded by Novartis (delegate travel, accommodation and reasonable expenses will be covered in the event of a face-to-face meeting). The Steering Committee has been offered an honorarium for their involvement in this programme.
